About the wine
The success story of Rocche dei Manzoni begins in 1974, when Valentino and Jolanda Migliorini left their Michelin-starred restaurant and acquired an 8th century farm in Monforte d'Alba in a prime location. With great passion and “lavoro da certosino”, the most intensive work, they turned it into a model whose reputation has become an integral part of the wine world. Their philosophy is the perfect combination of tradition and innovation. Rocche dei Manzoni now produces a range of high-quality wines, sparkling and dessert wines as well as grappe, which are famous far around, in five locations.

Tasting note
A very beautifully structured wine, which perfectly reproduces the typical aromas of the Nebbiolo grape: notes of flowers, dark fruits, cocoa and beautiful woody aromas seduce right from the start. On the palate, it is wonderfully warming and complex. The still present structure and aromatic length are evidence of good storage potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled or fried lamb.
