About the wine
The Marchesi di Barolo winery: Winegrowing was revolutionized here around 200 years ago when the Marchese married a French woman. From then on, the wines were aged in French style — and finally world-famous.

Tasting note
A very harmonious, rich Barolo with an intense bouquet of dried plum, fig and ripe wild berries as well as distinct chocolate and cocoa notes. The palate is full and round, the fruit and roasted notes are complemented by spicy aspects (licorice, clove) and rounded off by a wonderfully long finish.
