About the wine
Founded in 1959, the Michele Chiarlo winery owns around 110 ha of vineyards and has particularly privileged Barolo sites. This riserva is right at the heart of every Piedmont lover. Warming and long-lasting.

Tasting note
The Barolo DOCG Riserva Tortoniano aromas of anise express a lot of finesse with a very individual structure. Afterwards, the fine nuances of roses and cherries reveal their own character. It will be remembered: its first-class garnet red gives every occasion an extravagant touch. A fruity red wine with a strong body and outstanding acidity, which develops its individual structure strongly with rich tannins on the tongue and on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with lamb, brasato, stews, porcini dishes and lentil stew. Also great with beef cheeks.
