About the wine
A powerful, elegant Barolo from a prime location: dark cherry, rose petals and spicy notes of tar and licorice on the nose. Structured and deep on the palate, with fine-grained tannins, complex aromas and impressive length.

Tasting note
On the nose, ripe cherries, plum compote, dried roses and subtle hints of tobacco, truffles and licorice. Powerful on the palate with a dense structure, but already easily accessible: juicy red fruit, balsamic notes and finely integrated wood. The tannins are present but ripe and silky, supported by lively acidity. Long, spicy aftertaste with a mineral aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect accompaniment to braised beef, game dishes, truffle pasta or aged hard cheese. Also ideal with ossobuco, brasato al barolo and aromatic mushroom dishes. A wine for strong, aromatic cuisine.
