Tasting note
With the Barolo Comune di La Morra, Marco Oberto complies with the new rule of the Menzioni Geografiche Aggiuintive (MGA). This supplements the DOCG (Denominazione di origine controllata e garantita.) Although all Marco Oberto vineyards are located in La Morra, he has focused on the most typical characteristics of Baroli from La Morra for this wine. These are the light, light tones in the aroma, which are characterized by the light, sandy and magnesium-rich soils. His two plots in Bricco San Biagio and Capalotti are perfect for this project. The wine marks a clear contrast to the strictly structured Baroli from the municipalities of Monforte and Serralunga. It is thoroughly elegant, delicate and accessible.
