About the wine
The Fratelli Giacosa have expanded their own vineyards in the Barolo and Barbaresco areas to include some top locations in recent years. One of them is located in Monforte, in Bussia, one of the most sought after locations in the Barolo area. They cultivated Barbera and Nebbiolo vines around the local Cascina Canavera.

Tasting note
The Fratelli Giacosa have expanded their own vineyards in the Barolo and Barbaresco areas to include some top locations in recent years. One of them is located in Monforte, in Bussia, one of the most sought after locations in the Barolo area. They cultivated Barbera and Nebbiolo vines around the local Cascina Canavera. The latter results in a profound, complex and expressive Barolo, which also appears rich and balanced on the palate with fine tannins and subdued acidity. It only bears the name Bussia in good vintages.
