About the wine

More than 60 years ago, Gino Zenato founded the business, which was initially founded as a nursery to cultivate the cuttings intended for growing grapes. However, since his beginnings, Gino has also produced wine himself, not least in order to gain direct experience from his work with the nursery. In 1981, the management of the business passes to Valerio, who expands production with higher quality wines and finally leads Le Morette to the production of quality wines. Fabio and Paolo, the third generation, support Valerio in the management and carry on the family tradition with the same passion and enthusiasm as their grandfather. Built in 2013 on an area of 10 ha, the ultra-modern winery is a symbol of commitment and dedication in a wine-growing business that combines tradition and innovation. Morette, by the way, are called the heron ducks, the symbol of Lake Garda.
