About the wine

Fratelli Rovero in San Marzanotto near Asti have specialized in growing and expanding Barbera for many years. The company comprises a winery, distillery and restaurant and also offers accommodation. Enrico Rovero uses it to press a diverse, very different range: berries that can be drunk young, characterful vineyard wines, grapes aged in barriques. He also cultivates barrel-aged Sauvignon and sweet, red sparkling wine made from Brachetto grapes. The company is famous far beyond Piedmont for its varietal grappe.
