Tasting note

The color is a brilliant ruby red. On the nose, exquisite cherry and marzipan notes, supported by a hint of vanilla. On the palate, plums, cherries and light cassis notes. Powerful yet elegant with finesse, the Barbera Superiore 2021 is supported by velvety tannin.

Vinification

The Barbera d'Alba Superiore 2021 matured for 9 months, including almost 6 months in large Slavonian barrels. Bottled on August 19, 2022.
