Tasting note
The delicate aromas of the Barbera d'Alba Papagena of lavender, spices and vanilla express a lot of character with a very unique structure. The fruity nuances of black cherry and plum then reveal their own character. A red wine with a strong body and outstanding acidity, which develops its complex structure silky with subtle tannins on the tongue and palate.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 14°-16°C. Flaschenpost team tip: Barbera d'Alba Papagena goes perfectly with antipasti, strong, dark meat and Piedmont dishes.
