About the wine
With this outstanding red wine 2015 — Barbera d'Alba Fisetta DOC, the term taste takes on a new meaning. The winemaker from the Italian winery Oberto - Ciabot Berton absolutely masters his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing countryside of Piedmont. Tasting note
In the heart of the Barolo region, the siblings Paola and Marco Oberto not only grow Nebbiolo for their genuine Barolo, but also Barbera and they even have vineyards that are over sixty years old. Its character is therefore particularly characterized by fruitiness. On the palate, and this is the result of strict yield restrictions, it is appealingly full and soft.
Culinary recommendation
It goes great with pasta with tomato sauce, pizza dishes, grilled poultry or lamb chops. It is also an excellent choice with medium-aged cheeses such as Fontina or Toma. A versatile wine that goes particularly well with traditional Italian dishes.
Vinification
The Barbera d'Alba Fisetta (name of the vineyard) is being expanded in a modern way, i.e. without contact with wood.
