About the wine
With the first-class Barbera d'Alba DOCG, which was produced in 2016, you will certainly have a lot of fun. The winemaker from the Italian winery Guidobono is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and picturesque countryside of Piedmont.
Tasting note
The fruit aroma on the nose is convincing: aromas of cherry, plum, elderberry and cassis are revealed. A hint of floral and herbal notes completes the pure-toned aroma palette, which leaves an exciting impression at the start. On the palate, there is an intense fruit structure that is typical of the variety and shows elegance and straightness. This is accompanied by juicy tannins. The big advantage of this wine is the successful combination of the individual structural elements, which harmonize in the finale and last a long time.

Goes well with antipasti, charcuterie, pasta, pasta, cheese, risotto.

Aged for several months both in oak barrels with a capacity of 1500 — 2000 liters and in used French oak barrels
