About the wine
This wonderful Barbera d'Alba comes from the original Barolo house. In the old Piedmontese dialect, the word “peiragal” describes a steep hill. Winegrowers have always known that the most aromatic grapes grow on these rocky soils.

Tasting note
This fruity, rich and sustainable wine has a ruby red colour. The bouquet is balanced by blackberry, strawberry and vanilla notes, and there are also roasty aspects of biscuit. It is dry, aromatic and fresh and has a juicy, full-bodied and wonderfully harmonious palate structure, velvety tannins and a long finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef with light sauces, lamb with dark sauces.
