About the wine
For four generations, the Cigliuti winery has been managed by the Cigliuti family, today by Renato and Dina and their two daughters Claudia and Silvia. The extremely characterful, high-quality and long-lasting Cigliuti wines are considered an insider tip. The vines are carefully cared for by hand using natural methods and vinified in the sparkling clean cellar in the most gentle and natural way possible. It is not for nothing that Renato Cigliuti and his wines are described as legendary by well-known producer colleagues in the Barbaresco region.
Tasting note
This well-aged Barbera impresses with a wonderful strawberry bouquet and fresh wood notes. On the palate, it is full and shows a mature body with a balanced structure. Noticeable and pleasant tannins round off the drinking experience.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled or fried veal.
