Tasting note
Ruby red with garnet reflections. On the nose, aromas of red fruits such as cherries and raspberries develop, accompanied by floral notes of roses and violets as well as a touch of tobacco and spices. Elegant and harmonious on the palate with velvety tannins, lively acidity and a long, spicy finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with dishes with truffles, braised meat, risotto or aged cheese such as Parmigiano Reggiano or Pecorino.
Vinification
The Nebbiolo grapes are harvested by hand and traditionally vinified. After fermentation, the wine ages in large oak barrels for at least two years.
