About the wine
Sunny and blooming landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Produttori del Barbaresco conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
Rich ruby red with garnet reflections. A beguiling scent of wild berries, ripe sour cherries, dried fruit, dried flowers and some undergrowth. On the palate, full-bodied, sublime, with rich, fine-grained tannins. The aromas of the nose are also visible on the palate. Straightforward, precise and long-lasting aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
A perfect accompaniment to stews and pasta with truffles.
Vinification
The grapes from the Montefico vineyard are picked by hand and then fermented in steel tanks. It is aged in large wooden barrels for 36 months. The wine is then aged in the bottle for another eight months before it is sold.
