About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Bruno Giacosa masteres this red wine in the fertile and picturesque countryside of Piedmont. Tasting note
Brilliant ruby with garnet reflections. Wonderfully playful and fragrant on the nose. For flowers, red berries, black pepper, some dried fruit and truffles. Rich and mouth-filling on the palate, but delicate tannins and elegant acidity. The aromas of the nose are also visible on the palate. Beautifully balanced, long and very complex in the aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
A real cheese lover! He also skilfully accompanies wild fowl.
Vinification
Only the best grapes are good enough for Bruno Giacosa's Barbaresco “Rabaja” vineyard. After careful handpicking, the grapes are gently pressed and the juice is immediately fermented in a classic way. The young wine is then aged in wooden barrels for 24-36 months and aged in the bottle for six to twelve months.
