The great passion of Giorgio Rivetti, the head of La Spinetta, is Barolo. But its roots lie in Moscato: When the family founded La Spinetta in 1977 in the heart of the Moscato region, they proved the potential of the Moscato grape by producing the first crus in Italy. Today, La Spinetta also stands for quality wines from Piedmont, which emphasize the uniqueness of the grapes and the terroir and reflect the characteristics of the vineyards and the soil. Giorgio Rivetti is a successful man. Together with his brothers Carlo and Bruno, he runs La Spinetta with passion, creativity and hard work. For La Spinetta, low yields per hectare, the absence of fertilisers and the manual harvesting of healthy grapes are the basis for the high quality of the extract-rich wines.
