Tasting note
Extremely fine and expressive on the nose, with aromas of ripe cherry, dried roses, violets, spices, tar, tobacco and licorice. Elegant, rich in finesse and deep on the palate, with clear fruit, fresh acidity, fine-grained tannin and a long, nuanced finish. Asili stands for classic Barbaresco finesse with great inner tension — a wine of quiet size.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with braised veal or beef, truffle dishes, aged cheese, venison, rack of lamb or simply as a meditative soloist for special occasions.
