About the wine
This strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 — Balisca Toscana IGT is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Gagliole masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile Tuscan countryside. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Cabernet Sauvignon with red meat or pizza with mushrooms.
Tasting note
Deep darkness in the glass, multi-layered and complex nose — very typical, lots of cassis and wild berries, wonderfully integrated wood. Very ripe tannin on the palate, flattering but very powerful and a really great acidity. A really long finish puts a smile on your face.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with braised game, beef tenderloin, spicy pasta dishes or aged hard cheese.
