About the wine
Will the county of Kent soon be the new Champagne thanks to climate change? The conditions, in terms of temperature and soil, are certainly good. Richard and Leslie Balfour-Lynn recognised the potential for growing excellent sparkling wines more than 20 years ago. Leslie's Reserve Gold is rich and ripe with a hint of sweetness that harmonises perfectly with the fresh English acidity. Delicious!

Tasting note
Rich and smooth with aromas of ripe black and red fruits. The fine English acidity combines perfectly with the notes of red apples and pears, a touch of sweetness and a creamy finish. A top-class English sparkling wine - let's go Cool Climate!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, light meals, Asian dishes, fish and veal.
Vinification
The grapes are pressed and fermented at 16°C in stainless steel tanks. The second fermentation takes place in the bottle, where the wine ages on the lees for 12 months.
