With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodega Alegre Valgañon masters this red wine in the fertile and enchanting landscape of the Upper Ebro. This provocative Grenache 2020 — Bahierra Tinto DOCa Rioja is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Tasting note
Fascinating nose of cherries, violets, bitter oranges, pepper and chocolate. An invigorating palate with fine tannins that leave a silky mouthfeel. The aftertaste is long with notes of tobacco, pepper and raspberries.

Vinification
The approx. 60% red and 40% white grapes harvested by hand as a field blend are pressed as whole grapes and fermented with natural yeasts. The wine is then aged in two 500-liter barrels for approximately 14 months with virtually no intervention and minimally sulfurized.
