About the wine
The Eguren family has been engaged in fourth-generation viticulture for well over 100 years and owns several wineries, particularly in the Rioja and Toro regions. The Ayuva is pressed at the foot of the Sierra Cantabria mountain range and led by the eponymous winery and the very renowned Vinedos de Paganos winery, which also belongs to the family, and you can taste it. Serious and brilliant entry into the world of Rioja.

Tasting note
Future leader. Charming, playful character with substance, serious and determined. Dark, clear and fresh fruit, cassis, ethereal notes, vibrant, lime, animalistic, leathery notes. Flies powerful and fresh in the mouth, dense, dark but not heavy fruit, structure, fresh and tart, animalistic wild notes, long dark finish. Combines the game of youth with the analysis and seriousness of maturity. Lots of wine for little money!
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Goes perfectly with pizza, lasagna and barbecue.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation, ageing for 14 months in French and American oak barrels.
