About the wine
The fertile and blooming Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Morisfarms conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. This dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 — Avvoltore IGT is a hit right down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Cabernet Sauvignon is excellent with Gruyère burgers or red meat.

Tasting note
The Avvoltore shows a dense, almost impenetrable ruby red in the glass. The inviting bouquet is extremely multi-faceted, the lush fruit harmonizes in an exemplary manner with the perfectly integrated roasted aromas. On the palate, rich and extremely persistent on present but fine tannin. A powerful wine that masterfully combines power and elegance.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler tip: Avvoltore IGT is ideal for Gruyère burgers, ribeye steak and pizza with mushrooms. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C.
Vinification
Maceration and fermentation take 25 days. The wine is then aged in new barriques for one year. After a further 6 months of bottle aging, it is available on the market.
