About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Ateca masters this red wine in the enchanting and picturesque landscape of the Upper Ebro. Tasting note
A fine garnacha with an intense fruit bouquet. Smells of blackberries, raspberries, cranberries, cocoa, vanilla and licorice. Solid structure with robust tannin, fine fruit extract, smooth with good balance yet substantial enough to accompany a hearty meal.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with grilled or roasted red meat such as lamb or beef, as well as with tapas, especially with peppers, olives or chorizo. Hearty stews and dishes with mushrooms or tomatoes also go well with this wine. Cheeses such as Manchego or aged cheddar are also a great accompaniment.
Vinification
The grapes come from small vineyards with old Garnacha vines, which grow there at the highest altitudes in the region. After a strict selection of the grapes, they are fermented in stainless steel tanks. The Atteca is then aged in French oak barrels for 10 months. Free from animal products - vegan certified.
