About the wine
With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Shaya masters this white wine in the picturesque and enchanting landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). The dominant Verdejo 2016 — ARINDO is the missing puzzle piece on your wine rack. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this verdejo with vegetable rice or fish dishes.

Tasting note
Brilliant, slightly pale straw yellow. Floral notes combined with notes of ripe fruit. It is very balanced and pleasant. The wine has a taste of white fruits and floral notes. Long finale.

Vinification
The vines from which the grapes for Arindo Verdejo come are located near Segovia in the Rueda area. The soils are very sandy and covered with boulders. The harvest is carefully carried out by hand. The must is fermented in stainless steel tanks within 25 days at a controlled temperature of 15°. As soon as fermentation is complete, the wine is left to rest in refrigerated containers until bottling.
