Tasting note
A very noble wine with beautiful, complex nuances: ripe black cherries, plums, dried bananas, vanilla and coconut aromas flatter the nose, noble wood notes round off the bouquet. Delicate on the palate, with juicy, invigorating tannins, lots of content, melting, elegance and length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with white meats, pasta dishes and poultry.
Vinification
The two types of grapes are harvested and pressed separately. Only the best grapes are used for Ardingo. The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks. It is aged for 18 months in 350-liter French barriques and a further 6 months in bottle.
