About the wine
With courage, with a location (14 ha, La Pinte à la Capitaine) and a grape variety (Savagnin), Roger Martin started in 1953 in Arbois, the center of viticulture in the Jura. And it continued so courageously under son Piere Martin, who expanded to 34 ha and switched to biodynamic viticulture in 2009. You smell it, you taste it. Bewitching wines have had enough of everything, nothing too much, and that certain something: finesse, aroma, structure, harmony, and: character. Every wine is a discovery, great soloists and food companions. Extraordinary, outstanding natural wines, no beasts, untamed beauties!

Wow who is that It stands out, with its mild self-confident presence, this fresh, creamy bright fruit like a wise smile that only hints at what is possible, and you've succumbed to its deceptively harmless charm, nutty, it's different, it's special. Vinification
Selective reading by hand. Fermentation with vineyard's own yeasts, malolactic fermentation, aging and maturation in large and small partly toasted oak barrels for 2 years, the Savagnin matures under yeast flor, the barrels are gradually refilled. Only very light filtration and sulfurization
