ARACHON is a medieval name for the wine-growing town of Horitschon. The root of the word is Old Slavic-Old Slovenian and means “the one with the oaks.

Tasting note
Aromas of cherries, vanilla, marzipan and fine spicy notes that flow succinctly across the tongue. The wine is supported by a pleasant tannin backbone. This beautiful assemblage is very compact and dense.

Vinification
After a maceration period of ten to twelve days and a controlled fermentation temperature of a maximum of 30 degrees, the biological acid degradation was carried out. The further aging took place in barriques for 15 months.
