About the wine
Cantine Leonardo da Vinci, founded in 1961, has owned Villa da Vinci since the early nineties. Here, they deal intensively with the Leonardo da Vinci method and interpret it in a modern way. Great wines are created under the keywords innovation, observation and respect for nature. The region is also ideal for the highest wine quality: Here, in the Arno Valley, the vineyards face south — the grapes can ripen perfectly. A constant supply of fresh air from the sea removes moisture and ensures healthy grapes. And the soil, once a sea basin, is criss-crossed by nutrient-rich mussels and lime and is responsible for the balanced, harmonious structure of the wines.
