About the wine
Grand Apanage 1874 Blanc de Blancs is the result of years of painstaking work by the Champagne Pommery team of oenologists. The cuvée combines the diversity of Champagne terroirs with the house's historic heritage, which is reflected in the continuously cultivated reserve wines and vintage reserves. This cuvée is a perfect example of the fine art of assembling and testifies to the claim to express all the finesse, complexity and depth of the chalky soils of Champagne.

Tasting note
The nose shows an elegant complexity with aromas of ripe citrus fruits such as citron lemon, fine almond notes and a hint of bergamot. On the palate, precision and fullness are convincing. The distinctive minerality gives the cuvée brilliance, while the fine, partly precise, partly silky texture underlines the depth of the aromas. The salty, lively aftertaste invites you to pause.
