About the wine
Barone Ricasoli, founded in 1141, is the oldest winery in Italy. Located in Chianti Classico, it has shaped the region for centuries — including the original Chianti recipe by Baron Ricasoli. The Antico Feudo is an homage to the historic La Trappola estate. An elegant, modern Tuscan that impressively reflects the diversity of traditional grape varieties and soils.

Tasting note
This wine is deep ruby red with lively reflections. The nose reveals aromas of ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, harmoniously complemented by spicy notes, tobacco and earthy nuances. On the palate, it impresses with a velvety texture, balanced acidity, soft tannins and a persistent, mineral finish.
Culinary recommendation
An ideal accompaniment to grilled meat, pasta with tomato sauce or roasted vegetables.
Vinification
All three types of grapes were crushed after destemming, and fermentation in stainless steel containers took about two weeks. 8 — 9 months in Tonneaux (mostly used for two and three).
