About the wine
The vineyards of Altocedro are located not far from Mendoza in La Consulta (Uco Valley) in one of the most important and best wine regions in Argentina. We quote the brilliant winemaker Karim Mussi Saffie: “Altocedro is the fruit of our passion for creating great wines in one of the best ecosystems in the world for the grape Malbec: La Consulta.” The pride and basis for the Gran Reserva level are over 100 years old vines! These produce dense and profound wines, ideal for longer aging in the cellar and also for the storage potential of a large wine.

Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal enjoyment phase of this wine: Now until 2024. Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Goes perfectly with well-seasoned red meat, stuffed peppers and burgers.
