About the wine
The Netzl family winery is located in Göttlesbrunn, right in the heart of the Carnuntum wine-growing region. The wines that are vinified here are of the highest quality, which is also regularly confirmed by the trade press. The red wine content is 80% - the wines are complex, juicy and firmly structured, full of elegance and finesse. The white wines impress with their clear fruit and freshness. The motto of the friendly family is Tradition Generation Innovation This wine is dedicated to daughters Annemarie and Christina.

Tasting note
Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections. The bouquet with seductive precious wood spice, black cherry jam, cassis and licorice. Complex body, juicy, with sweet black berry fruit. The tannins are well integrated. Nice length and good storage potential.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Anna-Christina passt perfekt zu Pizza mit Pilzen, Gruyère Burger und rotem Fleisch.
Vinification
The highly ripe grapes are selected again after manual harvesting in the cellar. The must ferments for 3 weeks in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks at around 30° C. The mash cake is pumped over several times a day. This results in optimal color, flavor and tannin extraction. The gentle pressing is followed by malolactic acid degradation in new barriques. Each variety matures in new barrique barrels for 20 months until the final cuveting is decided at the beginning of June.
