About the wine
The property is located near the old village center of Monteu Roero and preserves the traces of a parish church from the 13th century, which was the seat of a monastery of monks. The vineyard, acquired by the Negro family in 1996, is characterized by sandy-loamy soils at an altitude of 25 to 34 meters above sea level and faces south and southwest. The land is planted with Arneis, Barbera and Nebbiolo. No herbicides are used and the grapes are harvested by hand: The grapes are placed in 2 kg boxes to maintain their quality.
