Amuerte Green is as authentic as it gets: We've created a perfectly balanced distillate for hot summer nights. An even more exclusive and unique flavor thanks to the remarkable use of curuba fruit (a cross between banana and passion fruit). Curuba (also known as coruba or banana passion fruit) belongs to the passionflower family (Passifloraceae), whose name means “passion flower” because the plant is similar to the religious symbols of the Passion of Christ. It has a thick, red-amaranth-colored skin, which can also be yellowish-green (hence the name banana passion fruit). It was originally grown in South America, especially in Colombia, where it is very widespread and used. From the slightly bitter aromas of coca leaves to the banana and passion fruit notes of curuba fruit, all accompanied by balsamic notes. The result is a fresh, slightly sour, summery and incredibly tropical gin.
