Tasting note
Cuvée of Cabernet Sauvignon, Lagrein and Merlot (in some years also with a small proportion of Cabernet Franc) with up to 5% of dried berries on the vine. The nose shows aromas of dark berries, cassis and dried plums, spiced with bitter chocolate notes and a fine touch of precious wood. Powerful on the palate, with a balanced tannin structure and good length.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with slightly stronger dishes such as braised ox cheeks with mashed potatoes and vegetables, juicy goulash with homemade spaetzle and grilled meat and sausages. Also great with game specialties.
