To get a feel for the hilly and mountainous landscape beauty of Valais, there is no way around this red wine, which the Swiss winery Adrian Mathier masters with a keen sense of texture. With the fine Ambassadeur Rouge des Domaines AOC from 2015, you will positively surprise your guests.

Tasting note
The color envelops in a beautiful intensity with deep shades of garnet. The nose smells of ripe fruits and strawberries, which are accompanied by the nobility and elegance of oak. Round and determined on the palate. The silky and partially melted tannin structure is pleasantly flattering. The strong finale, combined with a nice liveliness, prolongs the enjoyment with youthful notes.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game meat, risotto, lamb, veal and poultry.
Vinification
The ambassador of Domaine Adrian Mathier achieves full maturity and intensity by storing it for 15 months in new French oak barrels of 228 liters each. The ambassador owes its long shelf life to this maturation process. The yield is strictly limited to 5dl per square meter. The harvest is brought in when the grapes have reached between 96 and 100° Oechsle. It is aged directly in barriques in the cellar under the vineyard.
