Origine/ Region: In February, at the height of African summer, the olive-green fruits of the marula tree ripen into golden fruits. Its intense tropical and sweet scent attracts various types of wild animals and herds of elephants. Because their favorite dish is marula fruit. That is why the marula tree is also known as the “elephant tree”. The fruit of the marula tree contains four times as much vitamin C as an average orange.
