About the wine
For decades, the Rancan family, owners of the vineyards in Tregnago, in the heart of Valpolicella, delivered their grapes to the local winegrowers' cooperative. It was not until 2007 that Renzo Rancan decided to process the grapes himself and founded Cantina Ca' dei Conti, where he was able to hire Fabio Melotto as an oenologist. Even the first vintages showed the exceptional potential of the wines, and the Valpolicella Superiore “La Roara” in particular impressed with its incredible density and structure. This wine can easily be incorporated into an Amarone blind degustation, and it will always be at the forefront!

Tasting note
Ruby red color with purple reflections. Wonderful bouquet with aromas of cherry, dried fruits, strawberries and subtle vanilla and cocoa notes. On the palate, Amarone Tano is full-bodied and elegant, with a nice complexity. Once again, nice fruit aromas, plus subtly spicy. The aftertaste is long-lasting and lively. A great Amarone.
