About the wine

With notes of dark cherries, cocoa and a hint of tobacco, this Amarone tells stories from the region, rough and elegant at the same time. Tasting note
The bouquet is seductive (fine notes of bitter almonds, ripe berries and stone fruit), compact and complex. Both in the glass and on the palate, the Amarone della Valpolicella Classico from DOMÌNI VENETI impresses with its complexity and concentration. The reason for this lies in winemaking, which requires the healthy, ripe grapes to be dried in boxes for three months. The result: an impressive, powerful red wine full of elegance, density and profound structure, which rightly belongs to the group of great wines in Italy.

Goes well with mushroom appetizers, game, cheese, braised beef and brasato.
Vinification
The carefully selected grapes are laid out to dry and pressed using the traditional process at the end of January, aged for over 18 months in traditional, large oak barrels and then aged in the bottle for a further 12 months
