About the wine
The Amarone Classico Bertani is a masterpiece of timeless elegance. It is made from Corvina and Rondinella grapes from the Valpolicella Classica area using the traditional method: dried on “aréle”, fermented in cement and aged in large barrels for at least six years. The result is a long-lasting red wine with impressive structure and finesse. A must for gourmets — simply amazing!
Tasting note
Dark ruby red. On the nose, complex aromas of ripe cherries, plums, spices and subtle herbal notes. Powerful and harmonious on the palate, with velvety tannins, elegant acidity and a long, complex finish. A classic, structurally rich amarone with great aging potential.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with braised meat, game dishes such as venison ragout or leg of lamb and matured cheese. It also shows its full elegance with a hearty risotto with mushrooms or truffles. An ideal companion for special occasions!
