About the wine
The history of the Massimago winery began in 2003 when the young agronomist and entrepreneur Camilla Rossi Chauvenet started her own project on the Massimago winery, which has been owned by her family since 1883. Classic Valpolicella wines such as Amarone, Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella Ripasso and Valpolicella DOC are produced. With lots of energy, creative ideas and pep, Camilla manages to breathe new life and character into these classics. Tasting note
Deep ruby red, characteristic scents of dried fruits, plums, wild berries and a fine sweet spiciness penetrate the nose. Juicy and lively structure paired with the same aroma as in the nose give the wine a long fresh finish
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roasts, hearty meat dishes and game.
Vinification
24 months in large barrels, 12 months in bottle.
