About the wine
This strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 — Altitudes Ixsir Red is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! The wine-growing regions of the Lebanese winery Ixsir extend across the landscapes where the experienced winemaker produces this red wine. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Cabernet Sauvignon is ideal to serve with pizza with mushrooms or Gruyère burgers.
Tasting note
Surprisingly, this Lebanese red really comes with a lush, oriental bouquet - scent of flowers, perfume, incense, cassis. Solid on the palate, with robust, distinct, still somewhat drying tannin, balanced by fine fruit sweetness. Our hit from the Orient!

Vinification
Manual harvest, mash fermentation in steel tanks, aging in barriques for 6 months.
