Tasting note
The wine has a deep red color. On the nose, aromas of ripe cherries, black currants and fine spices develop, accompanied by mineral notes. On the palate, it is elegant with fine tannins, lively acidity and a long, harmonious finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with beef tenderloin, lamb dishes and aged cheese.
Vinification
The grapes come from old vines on calcareous soils. After manual harvesting, fermentation takes place in wooden vats followed by aging for 11 months, partly in wooden barrels and partly in 600-liter barrels.
