About the wine

Respect for the terroir, extensive knowledge in vineyards and cellars, and a minimum of chemical fertilizer for healthy soils: The approximately five hectares of vineyards in Grand Crus and Premier Crus locations are cultivated by the family business Louis Latour in Beaune, a trading house founded in 1797. The red wines capture the qualities and subtle aromas of Pinot Noir grapes; they are elegant and impress with a perfect balance of fruit and tannins. Structured, full, balanced white wines reflect the terroir in the power of the Chardonnay grape with beautiful freshness and complex aromas. Many of the great Latour wines impress with their excellent shelf life.

Tasting note
Very attractive and vivid ruby red color The nose is spicy with notes of black cherries and undergrowth. Very structured on the palate with soft tannins and a slight licorice finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with fine cuts of meat, fondue bourguignonne, cheese, poultry and stews.
Vinification
Traditional vinification in open barrels, malolactic fermentation. Ageing takes place in oak barrels (15% new) for 10 to 12 months.
