About the wine
Made from Nebbiolo grapes, locally known as Chiavennasca, and from autochthonous and historic grape varieties such as Pignola and Rossola. According to production regulations, Valtellina Superiore D.O.C.G. must mature for at least 24 months, including at least 12 months in oak barrels, before it is put on the market.

Ruby red color that tends to garnet red as it ripens. Intense aroma with a touch of violet. Harmonious, tasty, persistent and elegant taste.
