About the wine
Planeta is indisputably one of the largest winegrowing companies in Sicily. Since the 1980s, the family business has been continuously on its way to the top; everything that Alessio, Francesca, Santi and Francesco, the youngest generation of Planeta, touch, seems to be successful. The large but manageable wine range from four wineries on the Sicilian south coast impresses with its perfect design and high varietal typicity. These include wines from both local and international grape varieties.

Tasting note
Intense straw yellow colour with slight greenish reflections. This wine smells deliciously of ripe melons and peaches. This is followed by hints of merengue and slightly mineral components. On the palate, it is perceived as unexpectedly light. The beautiful acidity underlines the freshness.

Goes well with grilled or fried fish
