About the wine
In 1862, the writer and wine lover Gottfried Keller founded the Zurich State Cellar with his signature. The wines are now popular throughout Switzerland, but the grapes still come from the Zurich region.

Tasting note
Ruby red, garnet accents. Red currants, cherries and a hint of malt on the clear, fruity nose, followed by some floral notes. On the palate, there are redberry notes, of fine melting and matching fruit sweetness, magnificently balanced; lots of juiciness in the finale, which also shows some spicy notes and a touch of milk chocolate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with dried meat platters, bratwurst with hash browns or Zurich sliced meat.
