About the wine
With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Mastroberardino masters this red wine in the picturesque and graceful landscape in Campania. With the outstanding red wine 2017 — Aglianico Irpinia DOC, nuances and accents are redefined. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this Aglianico with beef tartare or leek vegetables.

Tasting note
Dense, dark ruby red. Intense, spicy bouquet with dense aromas of ripe, black berries such as cassis, blackberries, but also warm-spicy components such as cloves. On the palate, it has a dense structure, with pleasantly round tannins. Aromas of ripe wild berries, some tobacco, coffee and black pepper. Long, fruity and juicy finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with spicy pasta, lamb and tuna.
Vinification
The Aglianico vines are grown according to the Guyot and Pergola systems. Harvesting and fermentation in stainless steel is followed by aging and refining in used barriques for ten months.
